So, Frankto decided to give you all a gift for this merry season and he updated the mainfile (with bookmarks, thank you very much!), isn’t he sweet?

So a friend of mine came online tonight and saw I’d made a few changes. So he calls “update me! update me!” and I generously complied. Also, it helps that he serves as my Game Master more often than not. BUT! At the same time, I happened upon a ND20 game in progress, and in my great generosity and kindness (READ: For my own personal amusement) I decreed that if the players did nothing stupid for one-half of one hour, then an update was released.

The players were not aware of this, but they won the day for you all. And so the update is here. How did the saying go again? Ah, yes. I believe it was something like… “Zing, [female dogs]” or somesuch.

PS: Another update should follow in the next few weeks as I implement the Chakra Reserves and Skill Threshold systems. More details on the forums! Tell your friends.

For the coming update, a new system may be implemented for Naruto: d20 called “Archetype” and will help determine the abilities of your characters, create more original and deadlier enemies and offer a myriad of new possibilities for the Game Master to work with.

Please have a read, voice your opinion and offer any suggestions you may have on the new system (a work in progress) here.

The latest update (2008/02/28) has been released to the public. You can grab it in the usual places, and it is fully bookmarked (which was quite the time-consuming thing to do, admittably).

Now, I know what you may think. “But the project is on hiatus, right?” And that’s a perfectly justified question, because it still is. I know, this goes contrary to the definition of “hiatus” but it doesn’t matter, because I’m enjoying not giving a damn too much.

But as it was, I was bored and decided to put the material online and maybe add a few things to make it worth it. But since I can’t be bothered, still no bookmarks.

Just an update

Hey folks, Frankto back here to post a progress update and give you an idea when things are going to happen. I know it seemed I was on fire for a while, but the next update is going to come on Naruto: d20’s third birthday, August the 16th, and there’ll be a special surprise for everyone.

Now, for the pitfights. I understand you’re all very eager to participate and expect great things out of it. Yes, it will happen�rules are being fine tuned, things are being added as we speak. In early September, the first edition should begin with your E-Rank gladiators.

Now, you can find the update thread as usual here, and you may also expect the coming update to bring the page count around the 825-850 pages�amazing, I know. Don’t worry though, it’ll be split in three soon enough. And that’s that, I hope you’re having fun this summer!
