Just a quick comment.
Anvalance of Blades = Ken no Nadare. Made a typo there Wink.

As for myself, I was wondering if you happened to know a good translation for:

Abyss (or Abbyss or however that's spelled >.<)
Void (as in, the Void, as a realm. If that word doesn't exist, then just one or a few good alternatives to use such as 'nothingness' or something will do fine as well)

I've been trying to find them myself, but it's hard to find good results, since (I think) they're more or less Western concepts. So perhaps the japanese have some comparable things in their own culture, but since I'm not really knowledgable about that, I wouldn't know.

Thanks a bundle Smile.

Athildur-

Thanks for catching the typo. Guess I can't always be perfect.

Abyss - Shinen - しんねん - 深淵
The Void (From Buddhist Traditions) - Kokuuzou - こくうぞう - 虚空蔵
Nothingness - Kyomu - きょむ - 虚無
Purgatory - Rengoku - れんごく - 煉獄

Elon -

There's always a chance.

Reality Bond - Genjitsu En - げんじつ えん - 現実 縁
God of War (Name of a mytholigical god) - Hachiman - はちまん - 八幡
God of War (Literal translation) - Sensou no Kami - せんそう の かみ - 戦争 の 神
Magic - Kijutsu - きじゅつ - 奇術
Arcane Art - No good translation for Arcane

Bushido: Nobody is Smile. But that's fine.

Thanks for the translations Smile.

Elon, for Arcane Art - use a synonym for arcane, like mysterious. So then it'd be: Fukachi Waza.
Or Ancient Art: Furui Waza.

I'd suggest hiwaza (since 'hijutsu' are 'mysterious' jutsu only known by a few people), but it sounds odd.

*cough* Viladin:

Blast of the Inferno = Shounetsujigoku no Bakuha. (Shounestu = typo.)

I find it intriguing how it's actually quite logical how those words are formed...Yes, I'm giving an example Razz.

Shou means 'big', 'large', 'great' and such things.
Netsu means 'temperature'.
Jigoku means 'hell'.
no is a possessive particle (A no B -> B's A.)
Bakuha means 'blast' (I suppose this could be dissected into 'baku' and 'ha', the latter meaning 'wave', but I can't find any proper meanings of baku...maybe it's a load of crap though Razz).

So, there you have it. Inferno = Great Temperature of Hell. Quite a comparison, no?

*stops rambling about Japanese language*

Geoff! Please save me! I am so sick of this translating thing!

Do you have anything for me related to curing eyesight/hearing and paralysis?

EDIT: I found something to substitute it, but it was rough!

Suidan, Hodan, Doudan, Raidan, Hyoudan, Kuudan are all your bullets. Water, Fire, Earth, Lightning, Ice and Wind respectively ;p

I didn't take the time to do the rest, but I'll probably need a few of those ideas for my modern day techniques ;p

Actually, ammo would be dan'yaku. Dan is bullet, indeed. Depends on what you want to call it I guess.

Nitro Blast -> Chisso Bakuha
Shadow Shot -> Kagetama
Data Copy -> Shiryoufuku
Radio Jam -> Can't find a word for jam...unless you mean the gooey, sugary goodness Razz.
Wirewalk -> I'd better not do this one...seems to be something a bit too specific for me to just paste wordds together...
Trace Purge -> Atoshoukyo
Sure Page -> I have no idea what you mean by this, so I just won't...
Red Light, Green Light -> Assuming this is for traffic lights: Kikenshingou, Aoushingou.
Mask Metal -> Fukumenkane / Kane Fukumen (either of these...I think the latter one is correct but not sure).
Fake License -> Gansaku Menkyo
Degauss -> You'll have to wait for Geoff on this one Razz.
Dataread -> Shiryou Hiken
Camera-shy -> Shashingirai
Caller ID -> only thing I could find was dreadful ingurisu... nanbaadisupuree.
Alternately: Miwakeru Raikaku (Identify Caller)
Burglar's Buddy -> Oshiiri no Kimi

There, a probably terrible list of marginally correct translations Razz. I take comfort in knowing that BushidoPoet will know :-p.

Sure Page is a technique that allows the user to send a text message up to 25 words to appear on the screen of any electronic device.

Sorry I have been absent lately. I just started a new job over the past couple of weeks and I have been swamped with that and planning for my upcoming wedding (June 16th).

So to put it simply...

Being an adult sucks.

But anyway I promise I will attack all of the translations I have not yet posted this weekend. And if anyone else wants to throw some in get them posted because I will be working on translations this weekend.

Again sorry guys, once I get life figured out a bit better I will probably be able to keep up with this better for you guys.

Here's a bit to tide you over:

Bakuha breaks down into "bomb" and "destroy" (they don't always make perfect sense.)

Cure Blindness - Moumoku wo Naosu - もうもく を なおす - 盲目 を 治す
Cure Deafness - Nanchou wo Naosu - なんちょう を なおす - 難聴 を 治す
Cure Paralysis - Mahi wo Naosu - まひ を なおす - 麻痺 を 治す

(Viladin...I'll get to yours this weekend...)

Sorry! Thanks for the translations Wink

"Embrace his heart, Shadowfinger"?

Oh and... congrats on your wedding, man. I hope the very best for you!

Does 'toufunokadoniatamawobutsuketeshine' actually mean 'bash your head against the corner of a block of tofu and die'?

Fist of all, spacing!

Toufu no kado ni atama wo butske teshi ne.

Hrm...some little things (of which I have no knowledge) not included, it *seems* to match the meaning...

According to this online dictionary server, it does. But it's a saying. So it doesn't literally mean that. Well, it does, literally, but not...actually. You know...just means 'take a hike':-p.

BushidoPoet, In case you don't check your PM's, I have sent you one. More likely you haven't been online for whatever reason to even check, but I just wanted to make sure.

And since I'm here, can anybody take a stab at what "Rock Smasher" might translate to. It's the name of an incredibly large, blunt weapon named by someone with a very low INT score... if that matters.

I'm still here...

Just busy as all hell.

But its American Independence Day so I have a day off.

I should have these latest translations posted today.

Well, it's got to be something along the lines of...

Iwa Kudaki (or as one word) or something...I couldn't find a word for 'smasher' so I tried to see if there was some sort of way I could turn the verb of 'to smash/break' into it...and I dunno if it worked >.>

Otherwise, Iwahakaisha would be 'Rock Destroyer'. Not as good, but a safer bet for correctness >.>

lol.

Eyes of the butterfly - Chounometsuki or Kochou no metsuki
Wings of the butterfly - Kochou no tsubasa.

These *should* be right.

In a more Geoff style...

Eyes of the Butterfly - Chougan - ちょうがん - 蝶眼
Eyes of the Butterfly - Chou no Me - 蝶の目 - ちゅおのめ

Wings of the Butterfly - Chouhane - 蝶羽 - ちょうはね
Wings of the Butterfly - Chou no hane - 蝶の羽 - ちょうのはね

Alternatively, rather than using Hane (羽), you could use Yoku/Tsubasa (翼), but I'm not sure how viable that would be.
