and the genin feat 'power up'... but that is included?

What I would like to see the most is a small little entry under each technique in the technique index that gives a brief discription, or hyperlinking the index to the actual jutsu. Now that I think about it the second would be better.

Infinitus: There is a limit to the degree of customization that is acceptable before the system is hindered by it?and the basic classes, and the other few "talent" classes (genjutsu adept, puppeteer, taijutsu master, and so on) is that limit.

Too much of a good thing isn't always a good thing.

jmantyk: You realize that there is nearly 900 techniques, most of which are original? No, I'm afraid this won't be possible. And I am definitely not going to go through the trouble of linking each one.

I was talking about hyperlinking, not the short discriptions. I've seen it in a few pdf's and I know it's possible. It would just be a time consuming effort, and currently I have a lot of time to spare

Sorry, I don't know if hyperlink was the right term. One of my pdf's has clickable sections that brought you to another page in that pdf. My idea what to link to pictures, just have the link bring you to the jutsu description in the technique section.

I'm not too sure how to do this, but I can research it if you like the idea

To be honest, I'd actually like a little bit of everything(being the DnD guy I am!), but since that is not very likely, I have limited my choice to this; Bloodlines.

The reason? Well, in the anime/manga, the author has made it a habit to express loads of cool and unusual powers through the use of bloodlines, rather than new techniques, with some exceptions(such as Deidara, Shikamaru, Ino and Chouji, who's power(if a little bit more special) very well could be bloodlines).

Hmm.. perhaps set it up so that after fifth level of mastery, you can open a gate with a slightly faster action. (Main file is on a different computer so I can't check what it takes now. Most likely and attack or full-round action)

My reasoning behind this: Gai opened six gates with very little effort in the same amount of time it took Lee to open two or three.

Hmmm, I have one question. If a summoner summons multiple summons, is it all of their levels added together that is subtracted from the chakra cost, or one of them?

About the Summoner: methinks it needs bonus to perform/convert summonings.

About the artwork: woo hoo! Cool

Edit: I voted for feats/new uses for skills. What about some other benefit to Eyes of Divination? You could get something as a wis check to avoid surprise, or to get some 'directions' from your gm as you get unclear visions from the future; or maybe some insight bonuses to skills.

I was thinking about this the other day. What about allowing a Jump check (DC15 or maybe 20) to allow the characters to jump through branches as seen in the show. It allows them to ignore any speed penalties due to the area, like brush, swamps, ect.

maybe speed ranks should add to melee damage, when taking a move action beforewards (charge), with a greater kinetic power you can deal greater damage Smile

The problem with velocity damage is that you risk also damaging/destroying yourself, or whatever weapon you are using.
