I am sorry to ask questions that has bin asked before but i must know, what is Darkbane Sharingan and Farseeing Eye, are they a class or ability for a bloodline? Also, is Elder Sage for a specific bloodline or a racial class in general? Thanks to who ever answers the question and especially to Frankto.

Darkbane Sharingan grants the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan.
Farseeing Eye increases Byakugan Sight.
Elder Sage is a class based on the mind-reading class of Complete Warrior. For Satori BL.

How long do updates usually take?
1-2 months?

As long as it takes. There's been a pattern where the more questions are asked about when an update comes out, the longer it takes for the update to come out, if you know what I mean.

More good news, for puppeteers this time. New occupations as well, and coming up are Puppet Speed Ranks techniques.

I searched the forum to see if this was already suggested, but I haven't seen anything yet about it. For the technique Kaigan, it mentions it's supposed to be able to counter the Sharingan. My first thought was that this technique is the bane of all physical attacks and genjutsu.

After searching the main file for Kaigan, only one technique mentions the Kaigan being able to nullify it. Was this a concept that was going to be elaborated upon? I could see this move maybe countering more doujutus, but I haven't read enough to find to give a list of moves I think could be countered.

Personally I would like to see more techniques being dispelled by Kaigan or something. (The technique in question is Saimin Jutsu - Musou no Jutsu)

He wants to beef up the Kaigan.

Personally, what I'd like to see done with it is have some techniques developed that can only be used while Kaigan is active.

Or have the Kaigan react differently to Sharingan and Byakugan opponents.

The reason it blinds you is not to avoid Doujutsu, it's because you loose chakra non-stop f you have Kaigan, even while sleeping. So you blind yourself so you can get some chakra back.

Your thinking Katsugan... Kaigan is the technique that requires the Eyes of Divination feat.

Kaigen is a very powerful technique, IMOP and thats why it requires a feat, though techniques that have to have kaigen be active would be cool and you would get more out of kaigen.

Agreed... Byakugan and Sharingan both have techniques associated with them... and I imagine something made to counter them would have some more techniques as well.

They are supposed to have more techniques, because they are bloodlines... Kaigan itself IS a technique.

But Kaigan is a nice technique, i'd like to see Kaigan-related stuff as well.

But its a doujutsu developed to counter bloodline doujutsus? Even with the difficulty in creating Kaigan, I'm not sure they would have stopped there, with how powerful the Byakugan and Sharingan are.

I believe its supposed to be a Kumogakure kinjutsu, and it was the Kumogakure that tried to kidnap Hinata as a child to get the Byakugan that led to the whole Neji's father being sacrificed instead of Hinata's father.

So yeah, they wanted it pretty bad.

Kaigan is a technique created to even the playground between Kumo shinobi and the large amount of Konoha's Bloodline shinobi, namely the combat-oriented Uchiha and Hyuuga clan.

It's not designed to nullify anything except for a select few (read very few) technique and is already horrifyingly powerful as it is.

No. Stop asking about Kaigan techniques. You won't be seeing any.

Ohhhh...Can we get an idea what the new Youton techniques will be able to do? And this is something I asked hastur but he didn't know the answer....are you going to do anything more with Blood Sorcery and Fiendfire? I love both of the concepts about as much as Red Eyes Bloodline and associated things.

I think you'll have to wait for those - and that's if I can't get Frankto to add any more Youton in the meanwhile ;p. They are interesting jutsus, but not all too special - just the beginning of my request lists....

I have a couple of ideas for a Katsugan-based class; basically they all have to deal with the user's enhanced eye-sight:

-Can use their spot check VS opponents AC and if they win then they can deal a touch attack to that opponent. (Instead of making it a touch attack, you could make it so more damage is added or add more to the attack bonus.) This simulates the Katsugan being able to spot weak points in people or faults in armor.

-By using chakra you can negate the light-sensitivity. By forcing a player to burn up more chakra they can keep their bonuses even in daylight without being blinded or penalized.

-Notice Invisible attackers for one round per level in Katsugan class per day (or per encounter whatever seems more balanced). Make a Spot check against a set DC so the Katsugan user is able to notice Invisible attackers and Negate concealment.

-Able to make Spot/Search checks as a free action during battle, bonus to initiative. I think a feat like this is in Complete Adventurer, but I don't have it on me at the moment.

-Other stuff not really new: Improved Uncanny Dodge (or just something similar to it), Bonus against being ambushed, Skill Mastery for Spot and Search (Can take 10 even under stress or in a battle.)

No I'm not asking for all of them to become part of the class, I'm just throwing out every idea I have and hoping for a bite.

The "Genius Nin" feat was made easier to understand for people who have trouble reading their own names.

I should be ashamed. /rolleyes
