Errata?

First of all, I wanted to thank everyone involved in this project for the effort they've put into making a very interesting mod. I'm about to start a campaign with these rules, and I was very impressed by the quality of the work.

That said, a project this large is bound to have some rough edges. Even professional books are full of errors and the like, and they have people whose job is to hunt these down.

Anyway, I didn't find a thread focused solely on errata and editing matters. I figured pointing these out might be helpful to future editions.

Anyway, the thing I noticed that moved me to register and post this is related to the Weapon Finesse feat.

First, the feat says it needs only be taken once to apply to all finessable weapons, but creature entries have the feat specifying what it is for. For a more polished look, the weapon in the creature stat blocks should be erased.

Second, some characters (Gama Kenshin in page 720 and Hitokiri Battousai in page 746) have the feat for the katana. Neither the katana's entry in the equipment chapter nor the feat's entry mention the katana being finessable. This should probably be fixed.

Anyway, I just figured that the most time-consuming part of editing was finding the mistakes, and with so many people looking at the book, sharing what errors we found for the next version might benefit everyone.

If you don't want people to bring up these types of mistakes (spelling, grammar, or inconsistencies), this is the last I'll post about it.

There's no point in having an errata if the book isn't finished. If you find errors, there's a thread in General. Post there.

Why actually a naruto based D20 can't have weapon fin. for all weapons, after all, Speed is a ninja's most deadly weapon... combine it with a katana, and you got a killer machine Smile
