Funny, I thought that a mancatcher was a small "metal cage attached to a chain" that someone uses to decapitate a victim. It was a weapon from Oriental Adventures, but i can't remember the name.
Anyway I would like to suggest (and ask) some details about group Tactics and animal companions, since they seem just so complementary...
Questions:
-Can an animal companion learn tactics?
-They need to spend a "trick slot" to learn one, and need more time than a shinobi to learn it? They have some kind of limit, like they cannot have more tactics than their masters?
And the suggestion:
-More tactics, maybe animal based ones, like "super tricks", since animals have some tactical options that players don?t normally have, like flying, constrict or pounce. So maybe a tiger could "pounce" in a way that makes the enemies drop their guards or the likes. |

Anyone can take tactics. There doesn't need to be clarification here. It doesn't require a trick, it requires skill points.
And I don't think I'll be making tactics for animal companions. O_o _________________ "It's like making a cake, but instead of a cake it's a game and instead of frosting I have no life."

Frankto, you're truly amazing. I go away on business for a few months and come back to three updates and some promising sneak peeks at a fourth. There's a lot of material I've missed, but from last night's reading it looks like you've somehow managed to outdo yourself again. I look forward to catching up where I left off, and to your next update. |

The update is slow coming, because I've been sick but mostly because building those goddamn tables sucks. Honestly by far the worse thing I've had to do for ND20, and this includes going over the entirety of [i]1200 techniques[/b] and copy pasting things to change the way it's displayed or to add things 4 times. _________________ "It's like making a cake, but instead of a cake it's a game and instead of frosting I have no life."

I'll be fine; I might release the senjutsu supplement in the meantime. _________________ "It's like making a cake, but instead of a cake it's a game and instead of frosting I have no life."

This is just an idea, feel free to shoot me for it, but what about making the pdf text 2-colum as used in published works instead of 1-colum?
Again, feel free to shoot me for the idea. _________________ I must not fear.

No. Oddly enough, I'm not in the mood to reformat over 1000 pages of text. -_- _________________ "It's like making a cake, but instead of a cake it's a game and instead of frosting I have no life."

I agree. In PDF form, 2 columns becomes hell.
In book form, 2 columns is fine - but not in PDF format, which is how I read Naruto D20. |

Oddly enough, I sort of feel the same. 2 columns works amazingly well in printed works. But in digital documents, it's not really that cool. In most/all of my digital game documents, I use a single column.
And it reads just fine. _________________ Oy, this is going to be troublesome *sigh* |
