i would love to see a lot more expanding on the iaijutsu sword art, i know you already have iaido but there is a lot more that can come from it. i would love to see more on sword arts having to do with iaijutsu that require having iaido as a pre-req. There is nothing cooler to me than a swordsman who only ever draws his sword to either kill or defend his/her self.
if you did it you could even come up with a sick name like the art of the draw.
sorry i have been drinking and watching old school samurai movies mixed with a bit of searching the internet for iaijutsu where every draw is fluid into a strike. awesome _________________ GRAYFOX...... thats all to be said. |

There is a battoujutsu stance as well as plans for expansion, yes. I believe I've already posted my to do list, and it figures on it. _________________ "It's like making a cake, but instead of a cake it's a game and instead of frosting I have no life."

Hello fellow Iaijutsu fan, if you like, I have some homebrewed Iaijutsu that you may like. Drop me a PM if you are interested. |

Fod god's sake, people, at least have the decency of using the Find function in acrobat before making these posts.
The answer to your question about battoujutsu is obvious. Where do you think? _________________ "It's like making a cake, but instead of a cake it's a game and instead of frosting I have no life."

my bad man. I use the find all the time. i just didn't have the time to look through every technique in the book because when i make a character concept, then go with it from there, so i always look for very specific technique styles in the tech index then look them up.
plus you had said something about a to do list so i figured it was something you might have been working on.
once again i'm sorry. i didn't mean to get you all flustered.
lol
i made the time to try and find that technique and thank you i overlooked it 2 times not meaning to _________________ GRAYFOX...... thats all to be said.

It's not that I expect people to look through the entire file every time, but when you ask me where to find the Battoujutsu technique, what did you think the answer was going to be? There's only one place to look. _________________ "It's like making a cake, but instead of a cake it's a game and instead of frosting I have no life."

you have a point but like i had said before i wasn't sure if it was something you had still in the works or somewhere on this site as a home brew well thank you again.
if you don't mind me asking you had said there was some things you were planning on expanding on are they going to come out with an update or a supplement all of its own? _________________ GRAYFOX...... thats all to be said. |

There's nothing about Iaijutsu that I could make a 30 page supplement with. _________________ "It's like making a cake, but instead of a cake it's a game and instead of frosting I have no life."

idk man because there is already over 65 katas alone for just iaijutsu and you could always release different advanced or prestige classes or items more designed for what you are focusing the supplement on or around. you could also go as far as to release different stuff both offensively and defensively. _________________ GRAYFOX...... thats all to be said. |

Except for the part where when you swing a sword, the same thing always happens. Either you hit and you cut someone, or you don't hit and you don't cut someone. _________________ "It's like making a cake, but instead of a cake it's a game and instead of frosting I have no life."

except that sometimes you make an "attack" that is nothing more than a feint to get the person to move to a better position for you to attack, or do something you want them to do to make it better for you......like in chess think ahead of the opponent. yeah you may miss but it was meant to happen that way to set them up differently _________________ GRAYFOX...... thats all to be said. |

Like a feint attempt? That doesn't really need a special technique, just a few feats most people wouldn't take otherwise(brawl, streetfighting is actually pretty good)
EDIT: and that's only if you wanna be slightly better at it, or use it as a move action |

There's already a Technique that allows you the feint as a move action. See Kensei no Jutsu.
Also, the ND20 version of the Improved Feint feat changes the Prerequisite to "Int 13, Combat Expertise." _________________ Be careful when you follow the masses, because sometimes the 'm' is silent. |
