Okay, so why is it a Charisma skill when its generally something that requires high intelligence? I just need to ask cause the genjutsu master in my group is generally good looking moron... Is it to balance the gameplay or something? Like make charisma useful for something? |

Yes, it is. Also because you're essentially selling something that doesn't exist. _________________ "It's like making a cake, but instead of a cake it's a game and instead of frosting I have no life."

It's a balance reason, definitely. But, I like to see Charisma as better representing a character's creativity. By that, I mean that a charismatic person could better describe to you a scene of a play than his non-charismatic friend and I think that could also apply to how he would feed illusions to a person.
Plus, one doesn't have to be smart to be creative. Just look at Naruto. _________________ ZeronosVega's Creation Index |

You're trying to lie to somebodies brain with nothing but the power of your own imagination. That's Charisma if I've ever seen it. _________________ Be careful when you follow the masses, because sometimes the 'm' is silent. |

I guess I just want everything to be based on INT since its the god-tier stat.
Well thanks, good answers. |

Charisma represents your force of personality, not just your looks or how well you speak. A person with high charisma can be an average looking person but with a very strong presence. |

If you are hiding and you perform a technique that only requires hand seals, do you get detected by any way? And people who are unaware, do they get lowered saves against stuff too? |

I personally would have made each jutsu type MAD, but everyone seems to push SAD so...
Well, a nin user can get by with a low int easier than a genjutsu user can with a low charisma. A high dex/con character would have plenty of chakra and good accuracy with the to-hit jutsu. Charisma is a type of intelligence (even if its not the stat named "intelligence")

Cowering: Character takes a -2 penalty to Reflex saves.
Dazed: Character cannot use evasion or improved evasion.
Disabled: Character takes a -1 penalty to Reflex saves.
Flat-footed: Character takes a -4 penalty to Reflex saves (Uncanny Dodge negates).
Grappled: Character takes a -2 penalty to Reflex saves.
Panicked: Character takes a -1 penalty to Reflex saves.
Staggered: Character takes a -2 penalty to Reflex saves and cannot use evasion; improved evasion works as evasion.
Stunned: Character takes a -2 penalty to Reflex saves and cannot use evasion or improved evasion.
You are corectsir, BUT uncanny dodge negates, and you can still benefit from evasion or improved evasion |
