I know at least one of you must have it on PS3. Right? Right?! _________________ "It's like making a cake, but instead of a cake it's a game and instead of frosting I have no life."

I've thought about getting it, I just can't get past the cartoon feel that it has... _________________

I bought the first Borderlands on PC (huge mistake, btw, the PC version is trash) with the same trepidation concerning the cell shaded graphics. Allow me to put your concerns to rest. It works. The art style blends well with the simultaneously bleak and outrageous theme of the game.
I have not played Borderlands 2 yet, and I don't think I will any time in the foreseeable future. _________________ Be careful when you follow the masses, because sometimes the 'm' is silent. |

Awesome game so far. Loot scaling seems to be a bit better this time 'round. Actually switching weapons regularly. Though got it for PC. _________________ "Love is a very powerful force. Even more so when it's focused into a coherent beam of destruction."

But it's the games that make fun of themselves that are the MOST fun.
Anyway, I actually have the game on PS3 and am enjoying the hell out of the assassin class, his sniper abilities are like Mordecai's (from the first game) after sever genetic modification IN ADDITION to steroid overuse (not the kind that left the gunzerker a dwarf lol) |

I figured.
But having played multiplayer, I conclude that the game is much more fun played that way. _________________ "It's like making a cake, but instead of a cake it's a game and instead of frosting I have no life."

Well, once again looking for a co-op partner who knows what the hell s/he's doing for UVHM. I run as a Siren (currently specced for groups, working up a better build right now) currently. _________________ "It's like making a cake, but instead of a cake it's a game and instead of frosting I have no life."

It's not like typical FPS games, trust me. Personally, I play them like I do RPGs; level grinding. _________________ ZeronosVega's Creation Index |

Even though most of you are traditional RPG enthusiasts, I was curious if anyone was picking up Borderlands 2 today. I might, but I didnt want to spend 60 until I read some positive reviews from people I trust.
For those who dont know, Borderlands 2 is a post-apocalyptic first-person shooter. Not really an RPG by our standards, but there are definately RPG elements in it. |
