Hi Guys
First post, I have used the search function before asking this question.
Chidori p288 of main file
Quote: | Empower
In addition the may uses the Ryuutsuki technique to attack with the Chidori and while it
will instantly discharged, it will increase its potency. He can spend an additional three
points of Chakra to increase the damage by 1d8 piercing and 1d6 electricity, up to a
maximum of 7d8 piercing damage and 8d6 electricity (maximum 1 damage die per level).
Usingthe technique in this manner implies a -4 penalty to Defense and the loss of his
dexterity bonus to defense until his next turn, even though Ryuutsuki normally ignores
said penalties. The user also cannot score a critical hit while using Chidori in this manner. |
Q1-Does this mean that the only way to empower the technique is by using chidori in combination with Ryuutsuki?
Q2-is the -4 to defense and loss of dex to defense only when charging with Ryuutsuki or all the time chidori is active
Q3-Is it intentional that Raikiri cannot be empowered?[/quote] |

Welcome to the forums!
To be brief:
A1 - Yes.
A2 - Only when charging.
A3 - Yes. Dealing triple damage with it on a Ryuutsuki charge is the best you're gonna get. _________________ Don't be a dick! Be a DUDE! |

You make the empowerment cost on the charge. |

Now I feel like I need to make a podcast where I do 2-5 word reviews of game mechanics.
"It's pretty cool."
"This is hella unbalanced."
"This sucks donkey ass."
Etc. |
