Hello All,
I just stumbled across these rules and I really like them. So, I'm curious to hear from others about their favorite character build. I'm not just looking for whats the most powerful, though if that was your favorite feel free. What I'm thinking is more like what you enjoyed playing most and why. |

I personally enjoy puppeters and summoners, but I always enjoyed pet classes in games.
Just for reference puppeteers have two viable builds, dex-based and int-based. Dex-based focuses on getting lots of small puppets that you can give sneak attack too. Int-based goes into Human Puppeteer (in the playwright's primer) and primarily wants to get a few specialized puppets that they can use, though they're more at the mercy of the DM. |

I concur with shadow on the puppeteer, exept mine was also a swordsman that developed a technique that aloud the puppet to mimic taijutsu used by the puppeteer. Definitely fun to play not so on the building an planning. |

Ok, I just looked over the Puppet Master stuff and you are right, they look like a lot of fun. I enjoy the fact they can be highly versatile without sacrificing viability in combat. Safely flanking from a distance while using puppets by itself is awesome.
I do have a few questions about building that way.
Do any of the Bloodlines/Clans compliment the Puppet Master?
What base class do you suggest? It looks like Smart Hero is built for it considering how high you can boost crafting skills.
If you focus small puppets whats the best way to get sneak attack?
Living puppets are a little confusing, I know they keep their ability scores but what about your techniques or powers?
You both have inspired me quite a bit but I don't want to trip into any pitfalls, any advice would be greatly appreciated. |

If you want a bloodline then anyone that would boost accuracy or defence. Keep in mind though that those are levels that will eat at your class.
Smart is a good choice for both the craft boost or the plan tree
Flanking
Hope your party ends up enjoying the show |

Two weapon fighting Fast Hero into Reverse Doctor Medical Specialist into shade or genjutsu master (sneak attack dice) into Exarch. Grabed wolf summons and with flanking it was amazing. Sage powers were a plus (as with most builds). |
