Rekka Arashi

I was just wondering about the rekka arashi it seems odd that a taijutsu attack can create fireballs that seems more like ninjutsu. I have seen this described elsewhere as a rapid attack combo in mid air. Also was the requirement of the gates for the lotus techniques removed for balance.

I do read the manga just that I am not that far in it yet and a lot of my information from later in the series comes from the internet so that might explain my confusion

Omote and Ura Renge were created before the gates. Rekka Arashi/Asa Kuujaku will come later in the manga for you.
