I think that is sorta already done by most offensive med-ninjas. I'd say use the knowledge of anatomy from med-nins and some craft(chemicals) ranks+craft poisons and put them on say... throwing needles, and have at it.

I know exactly what he means. Where as a cleric specificly has healing spells and the evil cleric, or necro, has inflict wounds spells.

Considering Medic Nin's healing takes several minutes and are channeled, if I remember correctly, an inflict version wouldn't really work

just take medical for like a level or two then go into another class. That way you can snip people in the arms/legs/torso/head but not waste alot of levels.

T is a nice idea, but wouldn't really work. Reverse healing in D&D works because it is cast in a single round. One could devise techniques that decay a target's skin and muscles over time, but it would be more of a torture technique, or at least to be used on unconscious and or paralyzed targets. but then, you *could* just carve them up with a sword...though admittedly it's not as cool as just decaying them to nothingness :p.

the way i saw it is the reverse doctors jr. will have jutsus that cause pains, muscle spasms or the ninth kind, they create special poinsons that cause wide spread diseases.......

There are jutsu that do all that, most of them accesible to chuunin or below.

My point exactly. You have the jutsu, IMHO (meaning: In My Honest Opinion) just use that instead of making an entire new PrC. You want poisons? Purchase poisons, and take the poison based jutsu. You want damage? Get some damaging jutsu. That simple.

Although, you could also create techniques. My suggestion would be work off of Mystical Palms Technique (it might not be called that in the main file, but I know it's in there. Search Chakra Scalpel in the jutsu section).

And maybe get some abilities that can replicate the Hyuuga techniques by attacking chakra points/chakra coils.

Ahhh, I just had to digg out this topic, sorry. A few minutes a go I started to think how to optimize Medical Specialist for combat and it occured to me... that under the new rules you actually can do the "Reverse Doctor" thingy. How? Let's assume our character has 10 levels in med specialist:

Round 1: Hel the opponent by discharging Iryou Ninjutsu: Chiyu - Shodan Jutsu
Round 2: Repeat round 1
Round 3: Repeat round 1
Round 4: Make them suffer by discharging Iryou Ninjutsu: Chiyu - Yondan Jutsu with Empower Healing. Since they got healed 3 times by discharge they'll get hurt - you just spent 28 chakra and 1 AP to deal up to 10d10+40 damage. Not bad IMO. And if they are still standing you can just dump another Iryou Ninjutsu: Chiyu - Yondan Jutsu next round... and the round after... and another round after...

Funny, eh?

Note to Frankto: If you ask my opinion you can do two things about this - either allow (Will?) save for unwilling characters, or allow healing techniques only on willing/unconscious characters.

Con of 14/5 is 44, so most even with a decent Con score.
