Younin Prerequisets

What are the prerequisets for Younin> ANy tests any has used or does no one use this "Rank". (Maybe this is the wrong Forum?)

About Younins: They have to be real damn kick-ass, subtle and sneaky. They have to be like the ANBU, only good. Actually, Younins are second only to the Kage, and their names are also stripped out of the books(pretty stupid, since if someone finds a name that doesn't exist, you know you've ran into a Kage or Younin), and he is regarded as dead.

Basically: To be a Younin, you must be kickass even when compared to Kakashi.

EDIT: Check the book. It says there are no "true" requirements. It's more like guidelines.

A Younin probably has several ranks in Ninja Scout, Ninja Operations Counter and Shade. Other than that, I don't know.

Ohyeah! Did I tell they have to be kickass?

Which gets me to the point: If you want to be truly kickass, you should not go for Younin. Look at the Sannin! They're not Younins, yet they are kickass, damn kick ass!

To round up it all:

You're a level 3-4 Genin, I'm 15 levels higer Rolling Eyes

Younins are kickass, but not as kickass as the cool heroes in the Naruto manga/anime

Younins are meant for NPC, not PC

Only a few people even know Younins exist.

That's all, I guess

I do recall feintly you saying that. Ha ha. Yeah we're so strong in the game the Dm said we may be Sannin when were way higher levels because of how the story goes and our power.

Meh. My campaign(The Ninja Songs) will leave the characters on lvl 15(as it's planned), and the follow-up campaign will take them above, or at least to, Sannin-level.

I think we take your number of posts, compare it to a non-existent chart and then add an additional 5 pirate levels to the what is on the chart.

Well, I think if you compare it: Playing a Younin would suck. Yeah, you kick ass, but your a faceless character. You don't exist, you have to hide your existance, etc. Even playing an ANBU would be better, because they kick ass, but have normal lives as well.

But IntO... I kicks everyone's ass. The reason?

Yeah Younin are pimp but being one would mess up most campiagns and to be one would be difficult because no one knows there alive except for them and the kage and any lucky person they let know and live. ANBU are cool too so I may be one of them. My avatar is way cooler than sasuke!

I haven't read half the thread, so I have no idea if any has posted this or not. The only prereq. I can think of for Younin is this: be raised as one in secret. By the time you are released upon the world, you're a heartless assassin. And damn good at it. It'd be better for a solo campaign for assassination missions, etc.

Raised in secret could be a cool twist, but I hardly think it's a prereq. However, it could be a good bonus to the job if none knows you before other than the other Younin. Older villages might have taken such standards.
