[Campaign] Naruto: Stepping in the Shadows

So, this campaign is basically a bunch of ideas I've had thrown together. I am willing to listen to suggestions as to variants. Otherwise I will be planning on running the campaign as I post below.

3rd level
Point Buy: 34
Bloodlines Allowed: Non-Mibu Bloodlines (Unless you can give me a good reason)
Templates Allowed: All require asking me.
Races Allowed: Base Human, or ask me.
(Orochimaru's Experiments (See my Community Creations) may be allowed if you ask.)
Jutsu: 2d4+3+1 per point of intelligence (One of your jutsu must be one of the following: Kawarimi, Henge, or Bushin)
I may use the Genius Nin Variant
I may use the Trump Card Variant
I am planning on using the Sage Book
Blood Pacts must be earned in game
Wealth: (As Per Rules)
Power Units: Zero

Any other things you can ask and I will address and I am open to changes.

IRC most likely. pbp tends to get me lost in space. Although I suppose that also means finding one to use. >.<

Okay, and do you we get any feats for free such as: Nin Weapons Proficiency, or Genin?

Would I need a backstory for genius nin? I am making this an 18 Int character.

Nin Weapon Proficiency. I always forget that it isn't free. lol.

I would like one, for Genius Nin. Especially if you want me to use the variant. That and I love back stories. makes me understand your characters.

IRC huh? I should have enough free time to do an IRC game. What to play, I wanna try something different for once, I typically go for swordsman characters... maybe I should try a full-on unarmed fighter for once.

Nevermind, I looked it up and found out what IRC was, I'll start googling before I ask from now on. 3 unarmed characters, huh? Well I'd be willing to change my build if, as a GM, you want a more diverse party. Maybe I'll go for the clich? Sharingan.

Meh, only really need one unarmed, back to the drawing bored, really not sure what to play, not really good at the other builds. I could always try my high endurance nin/tai build.

im interested in the game but i have a few questions about the creation process and such for online play. i saw the specs above but do we PM you our character sheet or what?
How exactly does the IRC playing work i googled it and don't really understand. Are all players displayed or large group chat room?
this forum stuff is new to me as well as online gaming.

Yeah, we're pretty much in a large, group chat room with it's own dice roller (or some trusted 3rd party roller the GM can monitor)

so whats the deal with character sheets? For the point buy you have it @34 points instead of 40, is that because all the abil scores are starting at 1 instead of 0?

I personally do not like the google docs sheet all that much, is it okay if I send mine as a word document? I have 2 different templates for the sheet, both of which are adequate.

Glad to hear, as that is what I ended up using(well, copied from word, originally notepad).

I would like to know the official ruling on mastery, as some GMs do have different rulings, this is something I already asked in PM but...feel it's a piece of information all the potential players would like to know, might be worth editing into the kicker post as well, along with any other factors.

Also, I am an Aburame so I am guessing the answer is Konoha, but was the village chosen yet?

Yes, I do tend to play in Konoha. Though there will be a bit of background explaination in the chat room.

Also as for Mastery. I am allowing people to take one level of mastery for the sacrifice of one jutsu. from their base allotment.

Hey guys I have a question about starting wealth. Is it 2d4+occupation, or do I use the value on table 7-2 (which seems like an awful lot)?

2d4+Occupation at level one.
Level two Profession check.
Level three Profession check.

That is, if memory serves how you gain wealth from levels.
