I already have, but that's not how they work. _________________ "It's like making a cake, but instead of a cake it's a game and instead of frosting I have no life."

Would you be able to elaborate on how they work? Or is that strictly for the book?
The idea I had was more-or-less just fancy equipment that just had a sort of association with different summon tribes. Nothing like a Legacy Weapon from DnD, other than being hard to get. _________________ ZeronosVega's Creation Index |

Summon has a signature weapon. There is a legendary weapon of the same type linked to it. Use the weapon to summon the creature, weapon is consumed by the creature (temporarily). Creature's weapon becomes awesome. _________________ "It's like making a cake, but instead of a cake it's a game and instead of frosting I have no life."

That's pretty neat. Can't say that I would have thought of that. So both the Summoner and Summon get a fancy new toy to play with. _________________ ZeronosVega's Creation Index |

If there's any cool artifact ideas you'd like to see in the book, now is a good time. _________________ "It's like making a cake, but instead of a cake it's a game and instead of frosting I have no life."

Well, I may as well throw my idea into the pot if you're looking for suggestions.
Meta-Chakra feat:
Hasty Retrieval: Allows the user to summon a creature faster than usual, allowing the creature to make a single action (move or standard) that round, but requires a roll of a d(whichever you feel should be used) to determine what rank the creature they summoned is, up to the maximum rank they can summon +1. Any rank above what they can summon is npc'd by the gm to represent the summon not listening to the summoner, and instead doing whatever it wishes.
(just remembering naruto training before the chuunin exams match with neji, he went from summoning a tadpole to summoning gamabunta) _________________ DELICIOUS!!! |

An artifact huh well I like Shadow's Idea that would be so cool but I don't see it working with summons like Gunshin. An artifact i would like to see would be one that would allow one to subjugate summons though this would probably be for evil characters. _________________ Sasori Kimimaro and Hiruko are the Greatest Ninja of all time.

Sirshadow's idea should still be achieveable even with a weird summon type. Either you turn into the creature and lose some human abilities (maybe even temp stat changes), or you take on limited physical characteristics of the summon plus some of their abilities. It could be somewhat similar to the Sage Affinity class feature, but more pronounced/powerful, and cost chakra.
The artifact would be something representative of the summon, rabbit's foot, shark tooth, etc, maybe a mask or a weapon for the war hero. _________________ "No Hiruko, you can't fix people like you do for your puppets. When people fall apart they die." |

What about an artifact that allows the user's summons to make use of some of the character's tactics?
@Tribok- There is already a chain of techniques that do what your meta-chkra feat does, minus the randomness. They are called Shunkoku Meihoujin: "Rank." Or if you have the levels to spend, take summoner all the way to seventh level to quicken summon 3 times per day and keep them for just as long as normal. |

No problem, Tribok. Does my idea make sense? not only am I new to this system but I've never crafted magic items in the standard 3.5 DnD before. |

It makes a kind of sense to want your summons to take advantage of the Tactics you've learned, however that's more something that's accomplished with a Feat rather than an Item.
And I get the impression that he's not looking for just items, but Artifacts; the sort of thing that has it's own story that is told about in heroic tales and legends, etc. _________________ Be careful when you follow the masses, because sometimes the 'm' is silent. |

I think the artifact idea I said would fit the bill i based the idea around the Staves of dragon kind. _________________ Sasori Kimimaro and Hiruko are the Greatest Ninja of all time.

Oh, my bad. I'll leave this to the veterans then, but that's why I ask. I love the tactics, it's a shame how few there are. |

I know it's too late for any last minute summon ideas but will we be seeing any Kamaitachi?. As for items I'd like to see a item for a toad summoner: a gourd of special toad oil that allows the chakra shaping of any Katon or Suiton technique that originates from the user's mouth after he has drunk said oil. Maybe include an increase in damage as well. _________________ "You're a new kid on the block, young girls scream and old boys mock" |

No specific requests from me (everybody already said everything I wanted
Just curious if there's a generic release estimate for the book, like "sometime two weeks from now"
Not rushing you, just wondering if there's a cut off in case I think of a random request that might be "last minute" _________________ "Nipah~"

Is there any chance we'll be seeing some combination jutsu, like Jiraiya and Gamabunta's Toad Oil Flame Bullet? |

Ok, just wondering. As far as items, sort of, what about summoning tattoos like Orochimaru had, or the shuriken ones that Sasuke had? |

I've settled on 2 volumes, released 1 week apart. The official price tag has been set a $3.99 per volume.
Each volume should contain somewhere around 4 or 5 blood pacts, 35-40 special creatures, 20 summon feats, 10 artifacts, and 3 feats for summoners. _________________ "It's like making a cake, but instead of a cake it's a game and instead of frosting I have no life."

Will we be told a which pacts are in each one?
I'm going to buy both regardless, but it might matter to some people _________________ "Nipah~"
