Man, today has been as awesome as Christmas morning. I'm really looking forward to this. Do you need any help with this supplement as far as suggestions are concerned?

Sure. If you have ideas for armor seals, weapon seals, sealed items and item sets, let me know.

The seven swords of the mist are already on the list, no need to suggest or request them.

I would like to jokingly suggest a Senbonzakura weapon, but there is no need to add that kind of stress.

For serious requests, though, I would say the DnD type of Ability Score increasing items would be great. Also, maybe a sword made to work with the Sword Savant class.

I honestly don't see that happening. DCs are already crazy high without adding bonuses to relevant skill modifiers to that.

Your gut is right. I'm not adding stat boosting items.

1. There are a number of possibilities that could be explored with cursed weapons. This could include unique items that (like Samehada) have their own will, whether that's to sometimes attack or demand tribute from the user, or possibly even have a soul that possesses the user.

Cursed weapon seals are possible too, and can achieve a number of these effects. Perhaps armor that occasionally becomes immaterial for a round, or that drains chakra or HP from allies that get too close.

2. One weird idea: a "mirror" that reflects a weaker version of a tech back at the caster, whether it's a unique item or just a seal.

3. Weapons that become more powerful for each person (not necessarily ally) wielding said weapon.

4. Weapons that specialize in destroying other weapons.

5. Weapons that place various auras around the user (this could also fall under the category of a curse, depending on the effect).

I may expand upon more specific curse ideas when I'm less tired from work.

I would put in weapons that are based around legendary weapons from history like Excalibur of the Monohoshi Zao. Other than that maybe sealed items like the Iouns that give the ability to breath underwater or the ability to survive without food or water.

Hmmmm, just a quick idea from me.

A weapon and/or armor seal that either extends your rage or allows you to rage without normally being able to?

Weapon seal... How about a weapon seal that can absorb a ninjutsu technique used against you? (like a containment seal, you can use its power once per day to absorb a technique, then unleash that technique as a standard action)

Kind of an interesting concept to me, but it doesn't sound like something that would be in naruto Confused

I just started work on it today because it was a slow day, so here's a progress report of sorts. I have 7 armor seals and a growing list of 8 more, a list of 5 archetype armors, 2 archetype weapons (expect more), 7 sealed items (expect many more), and I've just about finished work on Nuibari, the Threading Needle.

A rough estimate, I'd put this supplement around 30-35 pages when finished.

EDIT: Also introducing a new kind of sealed item, the Implanted Eye.

Implanted Eye: An implanted eye is a type of sealed item that can be implanted directly in the character's body with the Treat Injury skill. Implanting such a sealed item carries no XP cost or negative level gain associated with doujutsu eyes. Extracting an implanted eye requires a Treat Injury check to harvest the eye. A character can only have two implanted eye items, even if it has additional eyesockets.

...20 pages later...

Jeesh. It turns out Nuibari was much easier to make than anticipated, at least as far as the stitching powers go. I still have to make...
Kiba, the Thunder Blades
Hiramekarei, the Twin Edge
Kabutowari, the Shield Crusher
Shibuki, the Exploding Blade

I also slightly altered the way item sets are written, a minor improvement I think. My minimum quota for items in the repository so far is 5 sets, as follow:
Harvester's Array?Reap and Sow (2 weapons, 1 bonus)
Shinobi Commander's Grab (Squad captain-y, 3 pieces, 2 bonus)
Vestments of the Eightfold Path (Eight Gates, 3 pieces, 2 bonus)
Raiment of the First Shadow (Kage-y, 4 pieces, 3 bonus)
Regalia of the Six Paths (5 pieces, 2 bonus)

Still looks to be within my estimates. I'm adding a section on modern day items for all you gun-toting, modern-day ninja out there. Still accepting suggestions for items. Mostly what I need right now are archetype weapons and armor. A few more weapon seals wouldn't be remiss either.

EDIT: Yes, I will get to your commissions. Please be patient.

The Harvester's Array sounds like a good Villain weapons set, they also make me think of Hidan. They also remind me of some enchanted daggers I used in DnD called Snip and Snap but that is mainly because of the name.

If you are still looking for some suggestions, I have at least one...

An armor seal which can once/twice per day dispel the effects of a genjutsu as if using Genjutsu Kai. The power of the seal essentially represents the bonus granted to dispelling. I could see this as being useful for the tank-like characters who have a hard time dealing with Genjutsu.

It could be a good alternative/supplement to the existing Mind Ward Seal. I've been seeing a lot of genjutsu in the campaign I'm running, so I guess that is where the inspiration (if you wish to call it that) came from.

And since my last boss character abused it. Also, the name isn't the best, but the effect seemed to work okay when I used it. Might have to be tweaked.

Code:
Bull's Anchor[Armor]
Minor (Lv 5)  DC 14    Superior (Lv 10)  DC 24
Item Slot: Feet or Back
Power (1/day, swift action): 2 chakra. The wearer is treated as being one size category larger for determining the outcome of a Bull Rush or Trip Attack.
Level 11: 2/day

I've got a suggestion. Cloth bandages capable of absorbing jutsu as an instant action , granting the user chakra immunity to an Chakra Control, Ninjutsu or Genjutsu technique provided it can store the total chakra cost. It doesn't protect from Taijutsu and can absorb up to 15 techniques before becoming inert. Any physical damage to the cloths themselves deal 1d6 energy damage per absorbed technique and destroy the bandages.

An item that can absorb 15(!) techniques? -.-

Methinks the numbers are a bit off on that one.

Athildur's right, that's pretty damn powerful. Maybe 3-5 techniques maximum is more reasonable, or just set a hard cap on the amount of chakra it can absorb. The energy damage drawback is decent, though with a hard chakra cap it would have to be tweaked.

I pretty much put 15 in as a random number I'd picked and becuase I'm terrible with math. This was something I came up with spur of the moment after reading the Dresden Files. I'm open to all suggestions you guys would like to give me.

Maybe absorbing X ranks of techniques depending on the rank of seal? Or maybe X total chakra would work better...

I have a very odd request for frankto. As of about a week ago I was introduced to the naruto D20 system. And I've always been a fan of the Hidden Mist Nins. So I creating a character we're starting at lvl10 because no one really like's the idea of being 12 years olds XD. The time line is shortly after the war has ended. My characters goal is to bring the sword back to the Hidden Mist and become one of the sword masters. I'm a member of the Hyouma clan. Through local thought me and the Dm decided it would be best if I where to eventual be the Nuibari, the Threading Needle master.

I find this rather lucky seeing as you've said you have completed the mechanics for Nuibari. I was wondering could you please post the mechanics for this sword please.

Also I have to ask are you going to be making specific techniques for the swords. Say like the when Kushimaru Kuriarare first used the Threading Needle, the huge ball of sewn up nin?

Uhh... Sorry if this is a bad question but do you have a definite date for the release?
Sorry to bother you.
And an idea for weapons is Soul Edge from soul caliber and Soul caliber from the same.
