Okay, while that is your opinion, I will have to say I disagree about the show being underwhelming. Yura, as a character, I disliked. When she got finished off, I was glad. |

Good job, Jensik. Bloodline = done.
Also, this thread isn't going to to turn this into an anime bitchfest or flame war. _________________ "It's like making a cake, but instead of a cake it's a game and instead of frosting I have no life."

How about a bloodline that revolves around psychic abilities like Telepathy and telekinesis. _________________ Sasori Kimimaro and Hiruko are the Greatest Ninja of all time.

As it happens I made a modern/futuristic bloodline for a campaign that never finished. I called it the cyber eye, for lack of a better name, and it was a sort of half doujutsu. The eye portion allowed the user to see and track electricity flowing through wires and circuits. The other portion let him interact remotely with these devices, as well as mentally absorb and interpret information from video feeds or data storage devices without a terminal. The idea was that it had been artificially engineered. I lost the notes I had on it when my hard drive died, but given some time I could remake it.
I agree that a couple of modern bloodlines would be another interesting way to flavor those campaigns. _________________ "No Hiruko, you can't fix people like you do for your puppets. When people fall apart they die." |

I don't know if they are classified as having a bloodline, but is there any chance of seeing anything about the Hozuki Clan? _________________ ZeronosVega's Creation Index |

Hey I am serious about this, but I know most will laugh and call me stupid. However how about a bloodline base around the Ainu folklore of werewolves. _________________ Sasori Kimimaro and Hiruko are the Greatest Ninja of all time.

I was recently looking over the bloodline section when an idea struck me: Maybe there could be a system for being able to 'implant' bloodlines other than doujutsu? The process could probably be similar to the Living Puppet epic feat, where there's a risk of death since that seems to be the biggest risk for this process. Yamato's origin being such an example.
And another sort of idea could be a template which somewhat replicates the changes Danzo made to his arm, though I'm less inclined to believe that this will be considered. _________________ ZeronosVega's Creation Index |

Yamato was experimented on as a child, a process which killed many of his peers before it succeeded on him. This is the sort of thing you take a feat for. _________________ "It's like making a cake, but instead of a cake it's a game and instead of frosting I have no life."

That's why I compared it to the Living Puppet epic feat. You not only require a feat, but a medical process is also involved. Yamato was used as an example for the 'risk of death' aspect. Danzo and his obtaining Mokuton post level one is probably a better example. _________________ ZeronosVega's Creation Index |

Don't know if it's something that was already thought about or considered but how about a bloodline based around enhancing your genjutsu? Kinda like the Kurama clan from the anime.
Another idea, what about a bloodline that allows the user to control paper kinda like Yomoko Readman from Read or Die?
Or a bloodline based around using your own blood as a weapon. That could also be kinda cool.
As for something I'd really like to see, well I'd love to see a bloodline class for Chakra Vampires. Chakra Vampires don't get enough love in my opinion.
Sorry if the ideas aren't all that interesting, just figured I'd pop in with a few ideas that had been floating around in my head for a while. Seeing as I rarely contribute in these kind of discussions, I figured I'd throw something onto the table for once. |

I thionk that bloodlines that literally allow you to control one external thing or another, would be good, kinda like gaara's sand, but not as powerful. This probably isn't a good idea cause it is going to be told that such a power is impossible to build because...(insert here)... but if it is possible then something like controlling grass, or things that are a particular shape, without techniques just literally deciding that you want to move them like this or this. probably something very limited would be best, and it would probably be non-progression. _________________ You've gotta love that moment when you make the BBEG do a double take in the middle of their monologue... |

Well, folks, you deserve some honesty. I'm having a lot of computer problems right now, and unfortunately I don't have the money to get them fixed unless it's a very simple thing, and I'm working on that. But it's a combination of those two things that have delayed the start of my truly working on the supplement, and it will probably continue to be so until I can get this fixed.
To those of you who are still waiting for commissions, I apologize, but there's not much I can do until I can save enough to get out of this mess. You know who you are. _________________ "It's like making a cake, but instead of a cake it's a game and instead of frosting I have no life."

Hey, I imagine this supplement is still a ways off but there is something I wanted to ask. Would it be possible to get a little elaboration on the Strength Speed and Vitality bloodlines? Are they as straight forward as they sound?
I know, a silly question most likely but I felt like asking. |

Strength and Speed give you strength and speed ranks, and Vitality gives you longevity and fast recovery. _________________ "It's like making a cake, but instead of a cake it's a game and instead of frosting I have no life."

I don't know if it is a good idea but I thought about a bloodline that maybe allows them to use water based jutsu from their bodies, I don't know exactly how it would work but when you think that the average weight man has 57% of his total body weight as water, about 40 liters of water in him this could replace the materiel need in some low level suiton jutsu at risk of overuse = dehydration.
You could have the clan of these shinobi generally large like the Akimichi clan and have them stuck in the human infantile stage of water to body weight ratio of 75% so a 22 stone shinobi would have approximately 60 liters of water in him |

While that may be pretty cool flavor-wise, a bloodline ability that's rendered obsolete by a single feat you can take at level 9 (Elemental Specialization) is not a very sound investment. Sure, levels 1 - 8 are going to be neat, but after that you're pointlessly putting yourself at risk for a sub-par ability. _________________ Be careful when you follow the masses, because sometimes the 'm' is silent. |

Hey Frankto.
Just asking. When do you think you'll release it approximately ?
I think it'll be the supplement I had the most bad time waiting for. |

I really am looking forward to when this comes out. I was wondering, how up-to-date is the game with the manga/anime, and will the new books add some of the newer stuff not yet put into the game? |
