Some point between Hell Freezing Over and The Apocalypse.

So about November, 2016.

This is gonna be me sounding like a stingy bastard, but is this gonna be a free supplement, or a paid one? Either way, this sounds amazing, I just wanna know if I can have my Weaponmaster and Samurai back =P

Last I heard, Frankto wasn't planning on charging for it.

In the mean time, you can find those two classes here.

Unfortunately, it's looking like I might have to go back on my word on this one. I don't usually like to do things like this, but this has been a very bad year thus far.

It's looking like I might have to release these in small supplements of five classes and one-to-two example NPCs for each class.

Same time frame (next few weeks, IIRC) or will it have to be gradually and/or later?

Well, I can at least shed some light on what bang you're going to be getting for your buck. Here's the list of classes so far:
  • Grand Scholar
  • Pain Engine
  • Skirmisher
  • Poisoner
  • Gadgeteer
  • Master of All Weapons/Intuitive Weaponmaster
  • Outlaw
  • Takedown Specialist
  • Commando
  • Swarmwrecker
  • Zephyr
  • Technowarrior
  • Zenmei Disciple
  • Berserker
  • Shadow Hand
  • Master Artisan
  • Master Infiltrator
  • Reaver
  • Sharpshooter
  • Specialist
  • Probably 11 more, for a total of 30

    ...and...

  • Samurai (free)
  • Weaponmaster (free)

What's most likely going to happen is I release these in packs of 5 classes, with 1-2 example NPCs each for $2.49 or $2.99, or a 2-pack deal for $4.49 or $4.99. Obviously, that doesn't include classes that have been free for many, many years like the Weaponmaster and the Samurai.

I hate to do this, especially after saying it was going to be free, but it's come to the point where I personally can't afford to keep my word.

So in advance, I offer you my apology, but I have to do what I have to do to keep myself afloat—it's as simple as that.

Yeah, at that price it would be about $15 for 30 new classes and some examples on how to make use of them on characters. Considering how often this system gets thrown around in the groups I frequent, that'd be a worthwhile investment.

Also by name alone a lot of those have my interest piqued, I personally look forward to the Gadgeteer and Technowarrior. Due to games I'm in on the site, I already know the Berserker and Shadow Hand are some quality stuff.

I also recall seeing a test version (or bits and pieces) of the Intuitive Weaponmaster, perhaps not something I'd use often but the concept grew on me as I thought about it.

$14.97 if you buy the deluxe packs, $17.94 if you buy them all individually.

Or if you live across the pond like me, then its £9.08 for the deluxe packs, and £10.88 if bought individually. Peanuts really, when you compare it to most of the stock found in LFGS's these days.

Keeping yourself afloat is the number one important thing. So I agree with everyone else it will be a well worth it investment. Especially if it helps you out, cause then you will be able to keep working on this awesome system. Smile

Hmm... I know I'd probably just get that Deluxe pack, but I think the single packs are going to fell a little small for a purchase. A new feat or two per pack would feel like the right amount of content though

Currently there are 17 class-specific feats.

Trust me when I say that there is something for everyone in this supplement. For those looking for an altogether new way to play, classes such as the Gadgeteer and Master Artisan are sure to scratch that itch. Or if you are simply looking for a new way to play your favorite character archetype, there's something for you too! Fans of grapple fighting will want to look at the Takedown Specialist, a class dedicated solely to keeping his opponents pinned for the count! This is just the tip of the iceberg, not even including the new items, feats, and class talents also available in the supplement. Pretty exciting, isn't it?!

What about someone who never has enough skillpoints to make a well rounded character, and even then said characters usually fail at their intended roles?

Then that person should accept his limitations and make the best of the hand he's dealt, or learn to take classes with more than 3 skill points per level.

Just a question, will there be a combined version of all of them, possibly available at the same price as the total of the packs if it isn't too inconvenient. I dunno why, but for some reason I felt compelled to ask.

Just a progress update to let you guys know things are still moving forward. It's taking longer than expected because the last dozen or so classes are more difficult than anticipated to get down, and making 60 individual NPCs is something of a chore.

But it's progressing. Expect a release in mid-to-late May 2014, if things go well.

Would the gadgeteer and puppeteer classes, be compatible with each other and capable of overlap?
