I'm not going to lie to you, people. When I started writing material, it was making classes on the d20 Modern WOTC boards. I'm not ashamed to say they were hoddible; I could hardly speak english then, by my standards. I didn't even write my own flavor text.

That being said, I'm a long way past that now but classes have always been the thing that comes the most easily to me. In fact, I have a lot of classes I'm holding in reserves because, honestly, they don't fit in at all with the material.

So without further ado, I'd like to present the new newest supplement in the line of free supplements I'm maknig, the Portfolio of Prestige! This one I'm most likely going to release soon and update periodically, starting with moving several classes from the main file and into this one.

Things to look for are the Master Artisan, Master Infiltrator, Shadow Hand, a yet unnamed TWF class, the Shinobi Marksman, and many, many more. I'll keep you posted.

EDIT: When I say soon, I mean as soon as I can get back on a real computer. I can write here, sort of, but I can't actually publish anything without my stuff.

Well, as early as it takes Frankto to get back on a real computer.

Anyways, actually really looking forward to this one. The Shinobi Marksman sounds really neat. I know I've been wanting a class dedicated to ranged combat and that certainly sounds like what I'm looking for just from the name.

The Shadow Hand intrigues me. Any chance we could get a bit of an idea one what that one is like? The other ones that you mentioned were pretty self explanatory just from the names but that one is kinda hard to guess. From the name it almost sounds somewhat assassiny.

I think I'll let Jensik answer that one. Let's just say it's a class that has a class feat called Friends with Benefits and leave it at that. I'll let you think about that for a while ;p

You know that guy? That guy who knows a guy that can cover any need you could possibly have? And if he doesn't have a guy, he has a guy that finds other guys? (That may or may not be named 'Guy')

That same guy that can walk into the front door of any building he wants to and instantly looks like he belongs?

That guy that seems to always have the right tool for the job?

The Shadow Hand is that guy.

This is quote worthy.

But in all seriousness, this is definitely exciting.

I'm not going to lie, it turned out to be one of the best classes I've made in a long time.

The Shadow Hand... he's just so damn slick, you know?

I can't wait for that TWF class, I got a dual kunai user that has a penchant for flanking and kidney stabbing people that would love an extra kick to their style.

Just a small update with a current list of content:

Berserker
Commando (soldier that doesn't suck)
Master artisan
Master infiltrator
Outlaw (thief/mugger class)
Samurai
Shadow hand (the 'I know a guy' guy)
Shinobi marksman (soon to get a new name)
Specialist (ninja tools master)
Swarmwrecker
Takedown specialist (grappler class)
Technowarrior (computer specialist class)
Unnamed two-weapon fighting class
Weaponmaster
Zenmei disciple (unarmed assassin)
Zephyr (dex fighter class)

This also includes a few class-specific feats and the samurai techniques. I have plans for about 20 more classes or so, and the following epic classes I told myself I'd make a long time ago: Shinobi Paragon, Kage, Shadowsworn, Shinobi Dreadnought and Shinobi Annihilator.

Any plans for element-specific prestige classes? Like a Pyro or some such?

Maybe some more skill-based prestiges, as most the prestiges seem to hit the 3 and 5 skill point per level mark.

Also: Technowarrior doesn't sound very ninja-y.

Umm element-specific Prestige class have you looked at the Elementalist Class because that is all that is needed.

As for skills eh not many D20 Prestige classes got a lot of skill points and those that did were based around skills which can get tricky.

Also as for the Technowarrior class it can be very ninja-y just look at the Cyber Ninja Sector, Smoke, Sub-Zero, and Cyrax.

Elementalist hits any element, true, but just because it can, doesn't mean that it does it as flavorfully, nor does it cover all of an element's possibilities.

Say an Earth Elementalist. Sure, the Elementalist class would up the offensive potential of the element a lot.

But what if your idea is a defensive Taijutsu user who uses Earth techniques to defend yourself and others? An offensive bent to your Earth skills would be fine, but you're likely not going to get a lot out of it.

It could also be a 5-level "dip class" for a specific element that brings out it's strength's a little more, instead of a 10 level "investment" in raw burst damage.

Technowarrior doesn't sound Naruto-y. As funny as it would be to pit Haku vs Sub Zero, the universes are very much different.

Nope.

Classes have skill points. Some have a lot, some don't. You can judge when the supplement is out.

That's because it's not. It doesn't have any shinobi skill, and neither do many classes actually in the file, like Berserker, Master Infiltrator or the Shadow Hand, and many more to come I'm sure. Ninja or not, they're downright useful.

Maybe not, but there are some people who like to mix-and-match genres with their settings. I've seen a lot of ideas for modern-day or futuristic settings for a Naruto d20 game, and the Technowarrior is something that would definitely be useful in that kind of setting.

That and, y'know, it's a supplement. None of the material in it is mandatory or anything. If you or your GM only wants to allow certain parts of it in the game, or none of them at all, then feel free to do so.

So what kind of thing is Technowarrior?

A hacker, something akin to Engineer (future) or Techie, or someone better at using tech for combat?

I like the sound of alot of these, because I struggle with making the non-ninja in my game robust and diverse.

Well, I'm interested in the TWF PrC. But I really hope it won't compound the problems that TWF has in a 3.5 style system; low hit chance with less reliable damage.

Let me put it this way: Frankto is playing one in Web of Shadows. The class will be good- assuming it's even done, since he has yet to take a level of it.

The class is already complete and it's adequate for certain builds, unsuited to others. I'm not sure what you're expecting it to be. It's a class for two-weapon fighting, not a new way to slice bread.

I guess I sort of assumed it'd be like the Tempest from 3.5 but better, what with class bonus to defense and whatnot. Lowering TWF penalties, allowing you to attack with both weapons as a standard action, full str bonus to off-hand etc.

To answer your question, there are 18 classes presently completed, 16 of which are new.
