Only five mokuton techniques?

Okay, after reading the mainfile and the supplements, it strikes me as a bit odd that there are only five mokuton techniques. Am I missing some, or where they just never made? It seems a bit underpowered to be a mokuton user when there arn't really any techniques. And in the case that thy where never made, have some homebrew-techniques been made?

It's simply that it wasn't expanded upon. Of course, you can always make techniques to fill in the gaps and being a Mokuton user, you have access to Earth and Water releases to supplement your technique repertoire.
