What if a character with Chakra coil disorder/Determined genius wanted to be a sage ?
I know such a ninja can still generate physical and mental energy, and use it for taijutsu, even though he can't convert it into chakra to use ninjutsu.
( too weak chakra coils )
I just wondered if it would still be the same after gathering nature energy.
I guess it would, but I'd like your thoughts on that subject. 
It could be some deviant way to reduce one's handicap.
"I'm weak, but through effort, i found another way to use ninjutsu !"

If you're talking game mechanics for Nd20, technically nothing stopping a person with the Chakra Coils Disorder feat from being able to make use of Senjutsu, with the right skills and feats of course.
If you mean theorizing how it'd go in the manga/anime universe? *shrug* Probably could work, weirder stuff has >.> |

There is a difference between 'No talent' and 'Unable to use chakra' - if his coils were too weak, he wouldn't be using the Gates, because that strains the body by forcing a lot more chakra through it.
He literally has no talent in molding and controlling chakra. That doesn't change with sagehood. Think of sagehood as a powerup that doesn't kill you like the gates, and that's about what Sage Lee would look like. |

Actually, I think that due to his inability to manipulate chakra, if he even tries it will likely statue-fy him instantly. That's just me though.
Stop trying to mess with Lee. He's awesome the way he is and doesn't need to change himself for you. *pets his bushy eyebrowed child*
