So, having looked around at a lot of games, many of them seem to use 36 points for play, as opposed to the book given 32.
Why is that?
What advantages does that have? Because the number seems to be something a lot of the more experienced GMs have agreed upon and I would love some insight on why this is.
Currently my group is using 32 points, but the game is hardly finalized, so adding 4 points to our characters is no stretch, if the logic is solid enough to convince my GM.
Can I get some feedback please? |

Well, I don't know about generally (but I expect people like having slightly stronger characters), but ND20 is what I like to call 'resource intensive'.
Being a good 'all-round' ninja involves a lot of stuff. You need lots of skills and lots of stats! Those 4 points really help to mitigate any real 'soft spots' (whoops, 8 Wis and Cha again. Oh well...) _________________ Oy, this is going to be troublesome *sigh* |
