|
|
And up next in the line of Naruto d20 supplements, after Prodigy to Paragon, are the Ancestral Archives: A Guide to Advanced Bloodline.
I can't claim to have already begun work, being that the last supplement was published a half hour ago, but I can tell you what the book will feature:- New bloodline feats
- New advanced bloodlines (Elemental combination bloodlines, Strength, Speed, Vitality bloodlines, Rinnegan)
- New bloodline classes
- New bloodline techniques
- A new type of bloodlines: feat-only, featuring minor bloodlines without a progression like the Akimichi clan's Calorie Control and many, many more.
- New sealed items relating to bloodlines
No word yet on the approximate length, but it could be anywhere from 30 pages to 60 pages; time will tell. As for the price? Following the trend, the Ancestral Archives will be available to download for free.
Why, yes. I am only one man, why do you ask? _________________ "It's like making a cake, but instead of a cake it's a game and instead of frosting I have no life."

Maybe. Could be even more!
The list of minor-minor bloodlines has grown to 39, but feel free to suggest more! These things just make themselves. In fact, I'm accepting suggestions right now! Not just for feat bloodlines, but for bloodline feats, occupations, feats, items, whatever would go with the book really.
EDIT: Did I say 39? I meant 45. With 1 or 2 follow up feat ideas for at least 5-10 of them. _________________ "It's like making a cake, but instead of a cake it's a game and instead of frosting I have no life."

I think a bloodline class for the Hiraishin bloodline would be interesting. Alas, class making is not my forte at all, so I'm not really gonna be able to offer any good examples for it. |

So does this mean we'll even see stuff for the Rust Blood bloodline? _________________ "You're a new kid on the block, young girls scream and old boys mock" |

I look forward to any Gumoshin related materials, as I have a strange fascination with that bloodline. Also, I've been dying to see about the Akimichi Calorie Control materials you had mentioned some couple of months ago. _________________ ZeronosVega's Creation Index |

I've decided to officially add the Elemental combination bloodlines, the Strength, Speed and Vitality bloodlines, as well as the Rinnegan to the list of things that will figure in the supplement. _________________ "It's like making a cake, but instead of a cake it's a game and instead of frosting I have no life."

I'm looking forward to this a lot more now. I've always been more of a speed based person in D20 games, so a speed bloodline is a big heck yeah for me. |

Hahaha, not even a couple of weeks after Prodigy to Paragon, and already our benevolant overlord Frankto making more supplements. I look forward to it already! You mentioned Rinnegan, can we assume that this may contain the God Path techniques? Here's hoping. In any case, I look forward with baited breath.
P.S. Can we assume that the Aburame may get some more love? If noting else, just a couple of more bug types would sate me.
Best Regards,

One thought that occured to me. How about a Summons bloodline, that allowed one to take multiple bloodpacts? This could vary between minor to major as to how many more you get, and could go along with some Summoning Bonuses, and a few feats pertaining to the bloodline?
Just my two ryo.

Might I ask or request that the Dark Release Bloodline be involved in this book. Also might we see Sakon and Ukon's bloodline. _________________ Sasori Kimimaro and Hiruko are the Greatest Ninja of all time.

If you go the template and statblocks thread in Community Creations, someone's already made Sakon and Ukon's Souma no Kou bloodline. Though if Frankto decides to add in his own version that's his decision. Will we see the Scorch Release? _________________ "You're a new kid on the block, young girls scream and old boys mock" |

What kind of new bloodlines could we expect to see?
Please no more "eye" bloodlines. There are already way too many :/
Maybe some bloodlines from the boards? _________________ I must not fear.

Personally how about some bloodlines that focus around Genjutsu and swordsman ship. _________________ Sasori Kimimaro and Hiruko are the Greatest Ninja of all time.

More eye based bloodlines, we still do not have enough! Kidding. I'd like to see more Genjutsu focused bloodlines and to see some of the bloodlines on the site that players made but have not been visited in a long time taken in.
though the one I am still most interested in would sadly conflict with the Naruto world too much and that is the Samsara Eye from Katekyo Hitman Reborn. |

I had an idea for a sealed item for the Symbiote bloodline, a sort of bug gourd much like the one used by Shino's father and other members of the Aburame clan. _________________ ZeronosVega's Creation Index |

Maybe a passive form of the Byakugan for use when outside of combat? Gives see chakra and the benefit of telescopic sight, but not the high speed sight or the other primarily combat benefits? _________________ I must not fear.

Maybe similar to what the Epic Sharigan feat grants for the Sharingan? Reduced functionality for a far cheaper cost?
That gives me a suggestion: Epic content for the bloodlines other than Sharingan. That's not to say don't add to or update the Sharingan's epic content, but similar 'Epic' feats could be made for all of the other Doujutsu I feel. _________________ ZeronosVega's Creation Index |

I've got to agree with ZeronosVega here. Few, if any bloodlines gain anything significant after level 20, while the Sharingan gets the opportunity for both the Epic Sharingan and the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan. _________________ Purge the Mutant.
