Okay, since we have an recent rise in number of kenjutsu techniques, how about all-so-popular in mangas technique for catching enemys blade with bare hands? (It was named Shirahadori or somethng ... ) _________________ Three are the paths of soul:

Actually, me and my most active PC are working on making a tech that allows you to stop a melee weapon with a ready action but, it also destroys the weapon. its a very powerfull attack but, it next to impossible to use fully and has unpredictable results.
Ill post the full thing when its finished it might be good enough to be added in, though its currently a Rykin Hijutsu ^_^ _________________ Beneath the beam that blocked the sky.

You could base it off the Doton based "Ishi no Teashi" jutsu if you wanted? Make your hands as hard as stone...then stop weaponry with em? |

Though it would have the same effect, Blade, the idea is different. Shirahadori are real-life techniques to parry/grab weapons with bare hands. And since we are talking about defending weapons with bare hands, how about the Kamiya Kashin style? Hadome and Hawatari would be a very interesting combo of techniques indeed... _________________ The day I learn to fly, I'm never coming down. If I'm not mistaken Frankto made a Kyuudo (archery right?) feat/ability/whatever last update and said if anybody asked for another he was going to be forced to make them commit seppuku? |

Yep, but he's not requesting an additional feat, just requesting it to be addedc to a list of feats available as a bonus feat. I don't think Rapid Shot should be in there...it wasn't before and it's not new...and Kyuudo...I dunno...doesnt really seem to 'fit'...y'know? |

Yeah, it's not really "Naruto-Like"... but hey, in Chuunin Shiken there was a ninja using an umbrella against Gaara, Kankurou and Tenmari... A bow is not so weird as it seems...
And what do you think about making that (Hyuuga Ryuu) jutsu Hinata used in one of the fillers?
EDIT:Also, about other suggestions, i already posted them here http://www.thewebportal.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=663 |

I have a suggestion... to save space. In the skills page. Why not wirte it likes this
Synergy: every 5 ranks in bla grants +1 to related skill. Instead of wiriting the same sentence five times and raise the levels every time... |

Since this thread is a little dead a friendly reminder of three things Frankto himself said they need to be done:
1. Living puppet and techs requireing blood like kuchiyose
2. Living puppet and taijutsu(martial arts) - as most of them enchance muscles etc.
3. Tonning down Housenka no Jutsu _________________ Three are the paths of soul:

Personally in the next update I would like to see some more Genjutsu. Right now there are not many to choose from currently. |

I support Elon. In fact I think there should be more weapon based-jutsus. Otherwise "fighter" ninja's really have no option but to take sword or unarmed and mayb spear... |

Then in that case, how about you're a bit more precise? Stop being lazy and make real suggestions for once if you really want those techniques. "Weapon-based jutsu" really isn't going to do it, or motivate me to do them. _________________ "It's like making a cake, but instead of a cake it's a game and instead of frosting I have no life."

Ok...
Staff Techs:
Propellor Technique: Rapid attack perhaps
Sticking the staff in the ground and using it as an axis to kick in a circle (Neo-style)
Using the staff for a long jump charge, high jump smash
Two Weapons:
Boomerang throw but to keep attacking with the primary hand.
X-Slash
Those are a few ideas. I'll invent more later and even actually make the techs. |

Well considering how many Ninjutsu there are to genjutsu...there aren?t many....But there are many, just less than the other 2 types of techniques.

Two weapon jutsus requiring two weapon fighting (and maybe the off hand weap beign light) that let you make a full attack action like if you had the other two advanced feats, for example. Well, this sounds a bit stupid so, what about a two weap jutsu with... reach, speed and more damage/attacks? Say you overcome the enemy with a storm full of cuts. Or what about another one where, if the first weapon connects (dealing little damage), opens the opponent guard open/hides your off-hand weap from his sight for a strike with full power from the user? I can also see a two weap jutsu similar to kaiten, but offensive only, and a greater version to deal more damage.
I had an idea too, for the heaven's steel seal. What about beign able to 'shoot' jutsus in the distance? I mean, you let your weapon stuck on the ground and, using more chakra of course, you complete a jutsu but the sword 'shoots' it. _________________ Oden! Guide our ships, our axes, spears and swords! For ease of file printing and reading, any chance of getting a page break before new chapters?

It'd be nice, but there isn't much info on villages outside of Konoha. There's some on Suna and the Mist, but the rest are pretty out there. _________________ "I'm no ordinary pervert... I'm a SUPER PERVERT!!!"

I personally think that we do need more info on the other villages, because it is hard gming a campain in a different village that isn't sand or leaf.
Also possibly a setting for a slight future campain if say we do it 30 years in the future. possibly info on villages in the minor future. Because it his hard playing clans taht have been anihilated (uchiha) in the present naruto time line. _________________ Quoth Thy Raven

Arcana... Please read some of the suggestions made before you. Frankto just OK'ed the fact that we have no real info about other villages. I've played played 3 games of ND20 in my life and in all of them... The villages are made-up mostly.
But about the second suggestions... Yeah why not? And why not creat a campaign setting for 50 years past... and 100 years past.... and 50 years future as well? It really isn't frankto's (or anyone's) job to creat a campagin setting for you. If you want you can post an idea in "Your Own Stuff" and ask people for suggestions and improvements but noone will create the whole thing for you... |

Okay...I'm just trying to add a contribution...... Also i was jsut suggesting tahta agree with the village sugestion. You have no need to completely shoot me down. I'm just going to stay quiet, ebcause i guess my voice doesn't need to be litsened to. _________________ Quoth Thy Raven

I love the new stuff, great job Frankto.
From chapter 108 of the Negima manga I found another Shinmei Ryuu you could add:
Shinmei Ryuu -Shiten Kekkai Dokkorenkaku - Anti-Demonic Tactics Absolute Defense
Basicly the user creates a clear pyramid over themselves preventing damage from an attack.
Maybe make it a modified wall of force, and let the character create it as an immedient action?
Thanks |
