Very cool update! A decent one, as the other were, I must say! The bleach-flavor you're giving to the file... ROCKS!! I like the new additions, with special mention for Chakra Buffer, wich surprised me a lot, as the living puppet epic feat did, congratulations!! _________________ Oden! Sharingan and Byakugan now have different degrees (Not everyone can unlock Tenketsu Mokushi Byakugan or Ichiryuu Sharingan and Technique Mimicry) (!!!) |
is true only for Tenketsu Mokushi Byakugan - there seems to be no such restrictions on Ichiryuu Sharingan and Technique Mimicry _________________ Three are the paths of soul:

Hastur, reread the sharingan's ECL description again before you say something like that. If you aren't capable of the higher sharingan, the ECL is only +1. Else, if you are, then you have ECL +2 |

Correct. And I added the bloodline, but for reference, this is what it is:
Quote: | Imagawa Clan Bloodline (Reikyou)
Bonus Feat: Improved Chakra Pool
Special Qualities: Reikyou
Effective Character Level Adjustment: +2
Reikyou (Su): Characters of 4th level or higher are able to use this bloodline power. Literally "Spirit Power," this ability allows the character to burn Stamina in exchange for Chakra. In doing so, the character's Chakra turns a dark golden color. As a move-equivalent action, he may increase his Chakra Pool by 2 points for every 1d4 points of Stamina damage he is willing to take, up to a maximum of 10 points in a round. The maximum Chakra the character can add to his normal Chakra Pool in this manner is equal to 2 times his level. The chakra will go away after 3d6+2 rounds have passed. |

Depending on the kind of response I get and how well things go, the Bi-Weekly Updates may return in April. Just letting y'all know. _________________ "It's like making a cake, but instead of a cake it's a game and instead of frosting I have no life."

I haven't had time to read new update fully but I must say that i like what I saw. Great job on Jyuuken and on Nehan Shouja (Longer perform time should cut over-usage of that jutsu).
Overall - Good work! _________________ Three are the paths of soul:

Wow, awesome, awesome update. I simply loved the Kensouku jutsus, and both Kodachi Nittou and Hiten Mitsurugi were incredibly similar to their form in RK series and balanced in game mechanics. I should only make a quick note on Amakakeruryunohirameki: the second strike is supposed to be stronger than the first. The new chakra control rule is also excelent, the new Stances are simply cool... wow, everything is very, very good on this new update. Thanks, Frankto, for being the kickass game designer you've always been! \o/ _________________ The day I learn to fly, I'm never coming down. Thanks y'all for the praise. I planned to add a lot more stances, but... eh. That would've taken time. _________________ "It's like making a cake, but instead of a cake it's a game and instead of frosting I have no life."

Must?.Keep????..balance..
Your work is too shabby, it has too many mistakes very boring and plain layout you?re made up clans and techniques suck and this game totally sucks
Now the balance of good and bad comments is complete?.anyways great work?.i hope we will see the whole training with shadow clones in the next update?.but fantastic work?also is it ok if you send me the draft of your work?.is it ok if I create some background work for your d20 main file?.and maybe add some design and colour to it?.its fine now?.if its ok can you send me the roughs of your work |

I think I can say something 'bout that: it would be terribly unbalancing if it's like it's said on the manga. Though Frankto is nearly god-like creating new things and amazing me, I wonder if he likes or will find a way to implement that. But what we could see is the bond between user and clone beign two ways now, with restrictions, perhaps. Or Kage Bunshin increasing cost/requisites/damage dice, after reading Kakashi's statements about KB (that is, Kishi's changing his world as Matrix would do). _________________ Oden! Well I finally convinced my group to try this.
We never played Modern D20 but it shouldn't be that hard.
Thanks for the great setting ^^ |

Didn't think I'd ever see that--an ND20 group from Montreal? Interesting. Hope you and your group enjoy this. _________________ "It's like making a cake, but instead of a cake it's a game and instead of frosting I have no life."

Sadly most people in my group don't know Naruto well enough for this to work long term but they are pretty excited about ninjas and everything |

Somehow I don't see that coming... it would be too good... on the other hand that chakra-element thing might be interesting... _________________ Three are the paths of soul:

Maybe it could shave time off learning technique according to your chakra pool.... or something of that nature. |

For the Kage Bunshin stupidity, it's completely stupid. No offense, but unless one had a thousand teachers, all teaching something different, then there's no way one could learn at a thousand times the speed. Mainly because one would learn the same thing over and over and over. Innovation may happen a bit quicker one could theorize, but the same person will ALWAYS have the same reaction to the same consequence.
That's my opinion. And no offense to Kishimoto, but the plot advancements are getting lamer, and lamer....
Mangekyuu sharingan would have been a viable training method, combined with maybe Kyubi's chakra somehow to let Naruto get even more training time. But no.... |

There's always a possibility. Perhaps, a higher level Ninjutsu (Training subtyipe) technique, that allows the user to learn some ninjutsu techniques in half the normal time. The technique would require Tajuu Kage Bunshin no Jutsu, and a high Chakra Pool (Something around 40-50, which is Naruto's chakra according to Frankto's stats) |

Technically, if you were going like that, it would require Kage Bunshin no Jutsu/Tajuu Kage Bunshin no Jutsu and Ghastly Inheritance. |

Yeah, Kakashi said it's not plausible for anyone unless you're Naruto. I don't see why it should be added.
Perhaps something with elemental affinities could work. Maybe an optional rule where a percentage die selects your element, or the DM lets you, and you get a bonus towards those techniques.
Although, if you really wanted to do that it wouldn't be hard to just do it yourself, so that probably doesn't even need to be added to the main file. |

Remember, they all new what to do, Use their chakra to cut a leaf. It wasn't that thre was multiple wasys to do it, it just takes time to do it. If you have thousands of yourselfs all doing the samething, and then retaing that knowledge back into one whole, it's bound to go a lot quicker. |

It wasn't one of those things that you slowly get better and better at it until you have it (I doubt shadow clones would help for that). It was one of those things that you keep working at it, not gaining anything until suddenly it clicks and you have it down.
Like the difference between learning to shoot a basketball and ride a bike. With basketball you get closer and closer to the net, hitting it more and more consistently. With riding a bike - you keep crashing until finally you go 10 yards without tipping and suddenly you have it. No telling when that will be - I've heard of it happening the first time, or me on the other extreme where my legs were masses of scabs before it clicked. _________________ I plan on living forever... so far, so good. |
