Okay, now heres something im alittle confused about, ive been looking for it in the manual, but cant seem to find the answer, if i missed it, im sorry please bare with me. Ive noticed for the different Jutsu, A character can only learn one he/she has seen.. But my question, Is how many can they learn per a given rank? Also with creating characters, Im not as sure of D20 modern as i am D&D, Again ive been looking, but seem to keep missing the answers, how does point-buy work? Also when do characters gain to feets? _________________ Give a man a fish, he'll eat for a day..

ok dnd uses the d20 system they get one every 3 levels and some when they go up in class as for the point buy it works like it does in dnd if you have the books look up it up and you can have as many Jutsu as you want if you take the time to get them _________________ bla bla bla -me |

Point Buy and Feats work like in D&D, as normal.
As far as Jutsus work, you can only learn a jutsu with a Rank equal to or lower than the number of character levels you have. Level Adjustment does not count, and some abilities may raise this.
As far as how many jutsus you start with, that's up to your GM. |

Stratassj, please formulate better.
You start knowing d4 jutsu, +1 per character level.
You can learn jutsu when your character has time for it, as long as the Rank of it doe not exceed your character level and you succeed at the learn check.
You do need not have seen a jutsu in order to learn it. You just need to find someone that can teach you the jutsu.
Also, for point buy:
You start with a set number of points (usually 36).
All scores start at 8.
To increase a score by 1, pay it's current ability modifier in points, or 1 point, whichever is higher.
So 8 - 9 = 1 point, but 14 - 15 = 2 points and 16 - 17 = 3 points.
This leads to the following cost for these total scores:
8 - 0 points 14 - 6 points
9 - 1 point 15 - 8 points
10 - 2 points 16 - 10 points
11 - 3 points 17 - 13 points
12 - 4 points 18 - 16 points
13 - 5 points
There you have it. _________________ Oy, this is going to be troublesome *sigh* |

Oh yes, of course.
An yes, characters starting at level one get TWO feats. Why? Because they're human. The extra skill point and feats humans get are already worked into the d20 modern system, so you get two feats at first level and the skill points you get for every class are also 1 higher than they would have been in regular D&D. _________________ Oy, this is going to be troublesome *sigh* |

Said increase is already counted in the current classes. For nonhuman races, reduce said number by 1. _________________ "It's like making a cake, but instead of a cake it's a game and instead of frosting I have no life."

Like I said .
It's really not all that difficult to understand if one...say...gets a D20 modern rulebook...(I dont know if the MSRD has it, so the book is always a safe bet :p) _________________ Oy, this is going to be troublesome *sigh* |
