I don't know if this has been an issue already discussed. The jutsus listed in the main file are incredibly hard to go through. It takes about an hour to find the ones you want and players would practically have to write all the jutsus down on paper in order to remember what they do. Either that or go through a long search process.
I understand the creators are busy but I want this suggestion on the table to consider. Could the jutsus be organized better? Such as in an index like in Dnd or D20. And sense this is a PDF, could a link for each jutsu be created that would lead to the full description of the jutsu. Here is a suggested format:
Genjutsu:
-Rank 1
-Jutsu: Summary of power
-Rank 2
-Jutsu: Summary of power
-(etc)
Taijutsu:
-Same rank format, same jutsu description format
Ninjutsu:
-Same rank format, same jutsu format
Chakra Control:
-Same rank format, same jutsu format
Its just a pain to go and read through pages and pages of pdf to find what jutsu your looking for. At least with this you can read through a summary of each jutsu till you find one that you want or are looking for; without waisting game time. Anyone with better suggestions for organizing the jutsus? |

This is already on the to-do list. But as long as I keep adding new techniques to the mainfile and modifying the existing ones, it will not happen. _________________ "It's like making a cake, but instead of a cake it's a game and instead of frosting I have no life."

I'm working on it, I'm working on it!
I've already finished the current list of chakra control and genjutsu techniques. I'm working on the ninjutsu now, but there are a LOT of ninjutsu.
Worry not, because I think I will have it finished by next weekend.
If Frankto has not the time, I will also volunteer to update that particular part whenever there are new techniques in the main file.
Edit: Sorry, not the link to the jutsu but...this has been said so many times before...in the .pdf use the damn SEARCH function. It's there for a reason you know...it takes me all about...oh, say...30 seconds to find any particular jutsu I need. If you ever wonder how to find the search function...try pressing CTRL+F while in Acrobat Reader...or just make sure it is in the toolbar (you can select it at toolbars) _________________ Oy, this is going to be troublesome *sigh* |

I'd have to agree. I know I typically don't have a problem jumping to the technique list via bookmark to find the exact name of the jutsu, and they go from there (the names for the jutsu usually are inherently describing it). Only thing is that there is one or two jutsu that don't match up from what I can tell.
Hirai Ashi springs immediately to mind come to think of it. It is translated in the technique list 'Flying Leg', and translated in the main jutsu name 'Flying Thunder Leg'. Though generally speaking you can use either the translated name or the Japanese names to find jutsu. Works for me anyway _________________ Click this link once a day.
