I have a little note: I am tyhe kind of person who likes LOTS of optionts for a character and such, and you guys have that, definately. I like the idea of the Sage's Handbook, expantion books are always a liking of mine, that's why I play DnD 3.5, 30-40 books!!!). I would like to make a suggestion on another expansion book(since this would likely take up too much space to be in the core book). I would like to suggest a book containing some more in depth information of each of the ninja villages. My group that I'm DMing is playing in the same universe as the show(taking place between the Leaf invasion and the end of part 1) and I would like a decent amount of more in-depth info on the ninja villages. Stuff like, average population, names of some famous ninja that came from the village, what Jutsu are readilty available in that village and which ones are more difficult to locate, names of high ranking clans in the village, stuff like that. I'm just saying it could prove useful

You realize I'm only one person, right? I can honestly say that that will not happen. For one, there's just too much we (more importantly, I) don't know about the hidden villages.

And also, making supplements that aren't generally focused on rules takes a long time. And I do try to have some simile of a life.

If you think it could prove useful, then I invite you to make it yourself or to get people to help you come up with ideas to fill up the Naruto Universe or better yet, the Expanded Universe map.

Also, wall of text crit.

I think you should have some sort of disclaimer stating that, while you have idea help and proofreading in the form of the online forums, it is ultimately you who does the entering of items into the pdf.

It just seems like once every few months there's someone popping up demanding why there isn't X and why Y is like it is.

@Aurion: The reason there isn't such information, is because it doesn't exist. Frankto rarely enters things into the main file that aren't canon, and even then people have to beg him (sometimes performing elaborate ceremonies for his favor) to enter such things. Maybe if you sent him some gifts, he'd be more willing to devote some of his time Wink

Yea, information about specific villages would never go into the main file anyways. At best, there'd probably be something like a non-official supplement (like the expanded universe topic) that can give GMs ideas/quick references about village life, services, landscape, etc.

But yea, I don't see this amount of "fluff" ever becoming part of the main file.

EDIT: and I definitely don't envision Frankto doing it all himself.

Lol, I wasn't asking for Frankto to spend all his time working on one request or something. I apologize if it came off as a personal request or something, it was a note, not to Frankto, but to anyone who feels they would like to contribute to the ever developing epic that is the Naruto D20 but does not know what to do. I, personally, am working on something similar to what I suggested, but I also am just one man. I am currently working on some info for the Leaf Village, but anyone who wants to submit any info for any other hidden villages(or even some custom ones) feel free to PM me. Once again, sorry to Frankto it came out the way it did, but thanks for your time anyway =)

well I have stuff for Sunagakure (pretty much all pre-Shinobi World War 3) and stuff for Kirigakure, but since I'm running a game ATM, I'm kinda loath to post it Razz

The multiclass feats, love em

summon tables, love em

new jutsus, love em

altogether a very promising update, I also like how the Kubikiri Sjuriken jutsus were altered, thrown weapon specialists are some of my fave character designs so I can really appreciate those techs (as well as teh 2 new shurikenjutsu)

Never start a post like this, ever. It will just make you look like a total idiot who has just spent the last ten years of his life locked in a room with nothing but a computer, a t3 internet connection, and a wide selection of mmorpg's. If you must start your post with some kind of life, don't use one like 'lol' or 'rofl'.

This has been your monthly rant. Have fun folks.

Little harsh don't you think? and Unneccessary maybe?

This is after all the internet, things like "lol" are unavoidable, and does it being at the beginning or end of a post really make any difference?

I've been trying a little harder recently to use proper grammar/spelling more often, particularly in forum posts as people who use these precautions tend to have their opinions better viewed.

I'm sure you didn't mean any harm by it, at least I hope you don't take that much personal offense to teh use of "lol", but meh...call this an anti-rant if it really needs a name.

Typo for the Keirigan at the first line it has an extra p in the front of specifics.

Chisa-gatana is listed twice- Once under Ninja Weapons and again under Archaic. For proficiency, which is it?

A few things: Leaf Whirlwind, as I found out, should hit targets, not opponents.

Taijutsu Adept should probably be a bonus feat for Taijutsu Master. I assume it is not because TA used to be a prerequisite for the class. Maybe you could also add Superior Combat Martial Arts to the bonus feat list.

Deceitful Water Movements provides concealment from everyone, not just the target.

I'll post more as I find it.
