Paradoxical statements aside, the update is fast approaching and bursting at the seams with new content, and stuff that was reworked almost entirely.

This isn’t an update. This is just a memo to let you know that by popular request, I have started a Play-by-Post forums with a built-in dice roller and such handy tools. You can find it here.

Now, I know what you may think. “But the project is on hiatus, right?” And that’s a perfectly justified question, because it still is. I know, this goes contrary to the definition of “hiatus” but it doesn’t matter, because I’m enjoying not giving a damn too much.

But as it was, I was bored and decided to put the material online and maybe add a few things to make it worth it. But since I can’t be bothered, still no bookmarks.

Hey folks, Frankto back here to post a progress update and give you an idea when things are going to happen. I know it seemed I was on fire for a while, but the next update is going to come on Naruto: d20’s third birthday, August the 16th, and there’ll be a special surprise for everyone.

Now, for the pitfights. I understand you’re all very eager to participate and expect great things out of it. Yes, it will happen—rules are being fine tuned, things are being added as we speak. In early September, the first edition should begin with your E-Rank gladiators.

Now, you can find the update thread as usual here, and you may also expect the coming update to bring the page count around the 825-850 pages—amazing, I know. Don’t worry though, it’ll be split in three soon enough. And that’s that, I hope you’re having fun this summer!

There is a chance the pitfights—to be renamed, of course—will make a comeback in 2007. But it needs your feedback. And to do that, I’m going to tell you what it’s about.

The pitfights are an arena, a Play-by-Post kind of game where two players battle it out Naruto d20 style. Everything will be supervised by a Moderator, who will monitor play and interfere when a rule is being broken, assign XP and ryo and call the end of a match.

The players will be able to challenge, be challenged, battle popular NPCs and icons of their childhoods, purchase and customize their own equipments and more.

So, if you’re interested in participating in the pitfights, then just go here and vote! Remember, it’s YOU who makes the decision, in the end.
